The Institute engages in a wide range of public service activities, including a wide variety of services to federal, state and local agencies and other organizations.

 

The Institute leads and holds public and academic forums, panels, discussions, and engages in service activities related to: Cultural differences; Minorities and Police; Violence Prevention; Street Law Clinics; any laws that adversely affect people of color; and training investigators who work for nonprofit, public interest groups on how to investigate claims involving race, law and public policy.

 

The Institute embraces a multidisciplinary approach to encompass public service activities. Due to its broad program base, the Institute can offer legal, scientific, and technical assistance to communities via a wide network of continuing relations with the government and public and private agencies.
